Audience participation is encouraged for the semi-final event, which will take under the name Nebula Slam on April 17th at 6 pm at MECA Houston, 1900 Kane Street, Houston TX . Please see Mrs. Trost if you are interested in attending to cheer him on or need help with transportation.

Dr. Sahin, of Harmony's research department has announced a new book focused on Harmony's approach to STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education, is now available for purchase. The book is titled STEM Students on the Stage (SOS).

The STEM S.O.S. model is a rigorous interdisciplinary STEM teaching approach that is teacher facilitated, student-centered and directed through sequenced set of student projects. In contrast to the other PBL models in the market, this model is standards-focused and substantial part of PBL completion takes place out of classroom in a digital environment. The book provides insight into Harmony's practices. It also shares data with the education community on how this approach has impacted students.
